DELIVERY TIMES & COSTS

Depending on the type of product and/or manufacturer the delivery time can take up to several weeks. In case of heavy and/or custom made products an extra period might be necessary. After your purchase you will be informed in every possible way about the exptected delivery time and arrival of your product. All your purchases will be free of delivery costs and will delivered on DDP or DDU basis.

RETURNS

If you are based in the EU under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (DSRs), you have the right to cancel your order with us provided you give us written notice. Notice can be given any time after your order has been placed, up until 14 days from the day after you received you order. Notice of contract cancellation under the DSRs must be given in writing to:

We recommend that you insure the return shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them at our warehouse. In case of dispute, we also recommend you retain proof of sending. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of us receiving your cancellation notice. If we do not receive the cancelled order back, we will arrange to have it collected from you at your cost.

Please note you may only use your right to cancel the order under the DSRs if you give us formal written notice of cancellation any time after your order has been placed, up until 14 days from the day after you receive you order, by email or post as described above, i.e. before requesting your RMA through your ItaliaCollezione account.

Our free collections service (see below) is not available for orders cancelled under the DSRs.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES USING OUR FREE COLLECTION SERVICE

As an alternative to using your rights under the DSRs, you may prefer to return or exchange items using our free returns and exchanges collection service. You must request your Returns Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number within 14 days of order receipt, and return your unwanted items within 14 days of receiving your RMA number, for a refund of the value of the item only, or an exchange for the same item in a different size, based on stock availability. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative product, we suggest that you return it for a store credit and purchase the new item separately.

Shipping is complementary on the replacement item, but exchanges made to destinations outside of the European Union will be processed for customs clearance and therefore any relevant import duty and tax charges will apply. See costs for Shipping and Returns.

Please note our free collection service is not available for orders cancelled under the DSRs.

In case goods are sold which can be normally returned by post as well as goods which cannot be normally returned by post: You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. In case of goods, which by their nature cannot normally be returned by post, the cost is estimated at a maximum of EUR 1000,-

CUSTOM MADE PRODUCTS

The right to cancel does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    • Please note that our Italian manufactures are closed during the month August. This means that there are no production and shipping possibilities during this month.
    • Please make sure that the shipping address is correct as we are unable to redirect orders once they are on their way to you
    • Before we can dispatch your purchases, we may need to confirm your details with your card issuer. We will do our best to keep delays to a minimum
    • Our delivery time starts from the moment an order is accepted and includes a period where your items will be processed, manufactured and dispatched by our manufacturers. 
    • We work closely with our shipping partner to minimize the potential impact of custom delays on our international customers
    • ItaliaCollezione uses leading national and international forwarding agents. All deliveries of big/bulky items are automatically kerbside deliveries. Should you wish to be delivered to your flat or into you house, this is possible on request with extra delivery charges. In order to get a quote for this type of delivery, please contact our customer service. Please note that if there is no suitable access for the lorry, the order will be delivered to the kerbside.

INSURANCE

ItaliaCollezione insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you are not the receiver of your purchase (for example a gift order) then the person who signs for the package confirms receipt and is accountable for the package.

TAXES & DUTIES

Taxes and duties are calculated according to your shipping destination. Dutch VAT will be applied to orders dispatched within all other EU destinations.

EU destinations are shipped to on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties will be included in the final purchase price.

Deliveries to countries outside the European Union are subject to the regulations applicable in the country of destination. Our deliveries are made on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means that customers must pay all clearance and customs duties. For deliveries outside the European Union, taxes and customs fees will be charged to the delivery address and will be requested at the time of the delivery.
